Default installing z06 maf

ok, i want to install a z06 maf to match my 85mm Fast Toys lid and fast intake. i already have the iat installed in the air lid. is there a plug and play connector that will work since i already have the iat installed in the lid? i prefer to not splice/solder. i came up with this connector only:

Damn, $40 for that little piece..fck.

I put the Z06 MAF in my Car, wired the 5-Wire Connector to it. I used the 3 from the Stock MAF Conector, and the 2 from the IAT Connector.

that looks like the caspers piece judging from the part number. Not sure if caspers electronics is still a sponsor here, but it might be a lil cheaper if you order directly from them.

Here you go.. this is the one i used. The Z06 MAF has the IAT sensor in it.. plug the hole in the lid with the sensor, or a grommet and just don't plug it in. Save yourself some money...http://www.currentperformance.com/Ac...iring_acc.html

^^If you get the Connector for it, you can re-wire it like I described. That is how I did it and mine is working fine.

^^Depends on how you Wire it. Some people buy the piece pictured above your post and keep their IAT. I was able to get the Connector with my MAF, so I wired it to use the IAT that is in the MAF Sensor.

i found this on caspers too. i was thinking it was around $25 if i remember correctly. i think this is what i will do instead of plugging the lid and buying the other connector with the iat on it. i don't think there is any downside to this.

Refer to my link above... it is the one pictured, and yes, it is $15.95..

With regard to "Z28241's" post... Yes, they are different, you want the 02 and up. The ones on Ebay that i purchased mine from are from 05-06 models and are "new".. mine was under $75.00 shipped to my door.

GL..
