Fuel gague issues

Fuel gague issues Anyone have issues with the fuel guage after racing. I know after a pass on nitrous or just on motor at the track I'll gain fuel a lot of times. My gas guage likes to play tricks. Guessing its just the floater moving around causing readings to go haywire. Just making sure its nothing I really have to worry worry about

Could be your sending unit going out. Mine did that for awhile before it finally crapped out on me. Sometimes it would show I had more gas than I did, then every now and then I'd look down while I was driving, and it would show it was past empty (scared me a few times lol).
Mine's been screwey ever since I started tuning it...I thought the tune in the PCM was corrupt at first...but now I honestly think the sender is showing signs of it's age, and it just took until now to manifest...maybe the rapid on/off/on/off reset that the PCM does at the end of a new flash is partly to blame too...when the tank is more than 3/4 full everything seems fine...once it's below that it's kinda a crapshoot, sometimes it just sits below empty when I start the car...usually if I restart the car the gauge then snaps right up to be accurate...but I also have 142K miles on my car and I go through 3+ tanks of gas a week.
