Default New gaskets for intake swap?

I understand that this might be somewhat of a judgment call in regards to the condition of the gaskets...but overall is this a better safe that sorry type of "go ahead and do it" thing or is this something not to really worry about unless you can physically see they need replacing. Post up and tell your thoughts.

i will ALWAYS replace gaskets when doing something. why put a crushed gasket back on? What it if starts to give you a vacuum leak causing it to run lean? You will have to take it all apart again when you caould have done it right the first time

I've helped a couple friends do their swaps and each time used new gaskets regardless of what they looked like. Also used the LS6 front pipe and plugs for the rear. Of course I wasn't paying for them...
