Bassani Does anyone have the Bassani headers/catted y pipe exhaust on their car? I,m considering these in the near future, but would like some input. I sort of like the idea of a 2.5" y pipe vs. a 3" setup. Thanks for all replies.

I've got the headers. I bought their off road y-pipe, and welded in some magnaflow spun metalic cats. The headers fit really nice. The left side header went in really easy, but the right side was more of a struggle. The fitment is really good, and I don't have any problems with leaks. Likewise, the coating quality is really good. I got these because I like to have ground clearance, otherwise I would have gone with long tubes. The ground clearance is really good with this exhaust, and I've been happy with it. I need to get some tuning done, because the car idles rich since the headers went on.

I had the catted y and i really liked it. It fit real good with my stock manifolds and magnaflow catback. I lost maybe an inch of clearance because no flat spot on Bassani. I honestly would not buy another because of the price,( around $500) and you probably won't notice a difference in performance or sound. the OFY is a bit cheaper and will definitely change the sound, depending on the set up. Unless i do true duals in the future, i'm sticking to stock ypipe. Hope that helps. good luck.
