Installing a/c compressor question?

I am installing a used a/c compressor onto my LS1 and am wondering if I need to add any oil tot he compressor itself before installing or charging the system.

I plan to have the system evac'd prior to charging it, but I am not sure if I need to add oil to the compressor prior?

The oil should be installed when you charge the system. Makes sure to watch the gauges when you do the evac so that you know the system will hold the charge
