On a stock CID motor did the High velocity headers make a considerable amount more power than your regular collector headers

we havent gotten a chance to get to the dyno where i made my first stock dyno pull but i got dynoed on an outdoor dynojet in 100 degree heat and 90% humidity and it went from 320 to 350 and thats with no temp correction on the dyno, and also barrys car will show the difference between standard collectors and merge collectors when he gets to the dyno also, but we've heard from other customers that they've gone from 320rwhp to 360 with one cutout open. so check back with us in a few weeks and we should have our car dynoed....hope it helps

Would you except the same degree of gains for someone who does not have cutouts (comparing the standard collectors to the high velocity) ?

We just have to find some time on the dyno. We have a lot of testing to do. We have my car that had standard collectors on the car and now has merge. I have dynoed before and after but not on the same dyno. Only info i have is this:
Before
Standard collectors w/3.73
405hp/362.7tq Cutouts closed.
This was on a dyno in november.
After
Merge Collectors w/4.11
408hp/382tq Cutouts closed
This was on a out door dyno in august that doesnt have a weather station so this number was actual.

I have to get back to the dyno i ran in november to get a before after reading. As you can see i did gain even with the change in gears.

When i go back to the dyno i will make multiple runs.
All QTECs closed
Dual QTECs open
Single QTECs open
Etc.
We will do the same on Pauls car which is a stock motor. So next month we will have time to get to the dyno. So stay tuned.
