Default Grinding LS6 intake tab

I know I could get the different coolent lines, but I don't want to bother with it. I can't tell exactly what part of the intake I need to grind. I've set the intake on top of the motor, but all I can notice is it's a little wobley.

Will one of ya'll who have done this before, circle the part I need to grind with MS paint or something? I don't want to screw it up so I'd like to know for sure.
The right side of the intake is the passenger side when it's mounted...jfyi.

Thanks

Grind wherever the coolant lines are running and hitting. You will have to grind a point at each rib, wide enough to allow the coolant line to fit so the intake doesn't lay on top of it and wobble. Pretty simple, but different for each car depending on where the line hits. We have no way of knowing because we aren't there. Maybe brush some paint on top of the line and put the manifold in place and see where it marks it. Or, if you are that worried about grinding, buy the correct pipe kit for the manifold you have and be done with it, no grinding involved.

I replaced the coolant lines, but if you are gonna grind the tabs I would just knock all of them down flush and be done.

Oh damn, that's easy enough. I thought it was one big section that needed grinding.

Thanks guys.

Don't forget to remove the little clips that hold the lines in place too or the intake won't sit flush. Here's a link with pics and other links that will be helpful.
