Default heater

after a little searching without any luck i had to post

i was wondering if it was possible to remove all the air conditioning part but keep the heater and the blower to go with it
and if anyone has pic please post them

Yes, Just make sure you have your ac system properly evaced before you undo all the a/c lines and since its on its own belt no problem with that. And just seal up the lines going into the evaporator on the firewall and your good to go.

ive already got the ac off i was trying to clean things up a lil bit
i was wondering bout taking the lines goin into the firewall out as well?

Well you will probably have to pull the dash out in order to get them compleatley out b/c the lines that you see on the firwall going into the interior are part of the evaporator. i would just pull out the condensore drier and all the line and compressor of course and seal the lines at the firewall

I *THINK* you have to keep the box in the firewall in order to keep your heater. I have my ac removed but kept the box in the Firewall and still have heat.

yes u have to keep the box on the interior to keep heat. there are 2 lines that come off of the waterpump. u need to keep those. they go to the heater core. heater core is in the box half on the interior. deleting a/c and keeping heat involves cutting off the front half of the box that juts out into the engine bay and installing an a/c delete plate
