Default Jet-Hot Coatings

So I thought I'de leave a little FYI for those of you who have or are interested in Jet-Hot coatings.... BAD IDEA. I've had for a year + and with the maybe 2 inches of snow we have had here in New Jersey... And the little bit of salt they saw.... There literally is no coating any more..... I drive 5 mins to work and put maybe 75-100 miles on the car a week....... Worst decision ever... Ripped the **** off.....

Did you contact them before making this post?

Ive read some of their claims and restistance to salt is one of thier major points. Call them and polietly tell them your situations, and see if they will help take care of you....

If they dont offer any help or solutions, then come tell the world your issues your having.

I've never seen a pair of ceramic coated headers that didn't rust.

No i haven't contacted them yet..... I bought these literally 2 years ago.. installed like 6 months ago... One inch of snow and the slightest bit of salt and the whole things just rusting away... As far as warranty goes ithey say any problems they will re coat.... But what am i gonna hang my car out to dry for a few weeks and pay 75$ shipping and crap on top of getting my mechanic to redo it.... Meh.. Im just going to wire brush the crap out of em.... paint them myself... to try and protect them..... If the re coat whats stopping it from rusting out next little bit of salt hits them.....
