misfiring.....help

misfiring.....help put full length headers on my 01 ta, rear 02's are disconnected, made extensions for the front ones, developed a nasty on and off sputter/misfire, re did the connections on the extended wires, no change........ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
that sucks misfires are like lil ****** gremilins sometimes...mine turned out to be the last person to change my plugs (where i work) broke or damamged my plug wire on #3 and used the elect tape fix...

A car doesn't require a tune just cause of headers. Atleast not bad enough to cause misfiring. A cracked plug won't be consistent but if you run a scanner of some sort you will have misfires in the same banks, and I almost guarantee its the plugs. Pull them and check for cracks.
Coils adn wires are rarely the issue, had this happen to me when I did it and we checked everything before realizing I had cracked plugs.

if you made home made extensions thats the problem, you cant cut into the stock o2 sensor, they actually transfer oxygen through them and your throwing everything off, shouldnt have been cheap, o2 sextensions are like 50 bucks now you need some and new oxygen sensors

yeah its ok on the engine side but not on the actual sensor itself. well then i would say check the ect sensor, (engine coolant temoreture) its on the side of the head, its RARE but ive seen where the connector wires come off with all that movemet, wiggle them while the cars running and that may give you an indication somethings up
Check the resistance in the plug wires, check for ANY loose wires, check that ur coil packs are giving spark..
if that fails u know it's not ur plugs at all. probably electrical, not likely fuel.

i would guess spark plugs, if they are stock plugs you may just need to replace them with some better plugs because the gap on them is very large from factory.
