Default Tsp headers???

Hey guys.

Soon I will be purchasing a set of LT headers and a TSP true dual kit for my '99 SS.

Has anyone used the TSP coated headers before? How are they? I was planning on getting pacesetter coated headers but I will pay the extra cash if they are worth it.

Thanks.

The 1 7/8" headers are a nice upgrade for guys looking to have a pretty heavily moded car down the road. The 1 7/8" headers will grow with your mods very well. Dyno testing has shown the headers are worth a few more hp over the 1 3/4" pacesetters when tested side by side on a stock motor!!

They come coated according to their website and I didn't see anything about getting them not coated. Texas Speed would have to answer that.

I do have a question I'm gonna get the same set up in the next couple weeks with my tax money (TSP 1 7/8 coated headers & TD)

but my question is I'm also going to get a wideband O2 sensor so I can get this tuned right. Where would be a good place to install the wideband on a TD setup like this? Thanks I appreciate any help on this.

What did you run before them and how do you like them compared to the others?

Well before the setup it was stock minus a cat back. So can't really say how I like it compared to others. I've noticed more power in the mid to high rpms so there is a difference.

As far as a wideband goes I haven't put one in yet waiting to do my h/c combo. But I've heard of guys running duals just have an o2 bung welded in along with the two o2 sensors already there.

That is how I put my bungs in. I have one set in the headers and one set in the pipes after the headers.
