My e-cutout is installed under the rear passenger seat location. There is a grommet under the seat which I cut. The wire is fed through there, under the carpet, and runs to my ashtray.

Hope this helps!

Exactly what I did, and installed the switch in the ashtray. Works like a champ. Just remember that wired to the cig lighter always has power, so you can open (or close) it before you even start you car.

so if it always has power will it drain the battery or not? i wouldn't think so unless i open and close it multiple times without starting the car..i just want to make sure...i don't think it would be pulling power from the battery unless im actually opening or closeing it..

does anybody have pics of where they put the switch, is there a way to get a fog light switch or something and put it up by the radio/tcs/foglights for a stock look?
