Question what sensor is this?

i just took off my ls1 manifold for the ls6 swap. and found this sensor broken. is it the oil pressure sender/switch???? thanks guys.

Oil pressure sending unit. If you broke it, you must replace it.

Yup, it is the oil pressure sender.

Need a special deep socket to put the new one on. At least it's recommended. Since the old one's broke you can use the special socket or a regular one for removal since you don't have to place it over the existing oil sender.

Those sockets are sold in almost any parts store and are pretty cheap as they are plastic.
