Did you have quite a bit extra on one side or no?

i installed some lpp headers and y-pipe about a month ago. looks like you got everything. i would also put some penetrating spray on all the exhaust bolts the night before and then a few hours before you try to take the old exhaust off. really helps to break all the nuts loose. IF everything fits together than 3 hrs is not a bad estimate. my headers also fit very well with no clearance issues anywhere. It took me and my dad about 5 hrs to get my done. we took the time to make sure the muffler was straight and that the exhaust tips exiting the rear of the car were straight, etc. so that took some extra time. we also did it on a lift. have fun, it will definately be an experience. forgot to add that i just got 2 24" extensions for the O2. there was a bit extra on the drivers side if i remember correctly but we just zip tied it to something.

I've read a lot, and most agree w/ Speed Inc.

12" for driver side 24" for passenger.

On a side note, I thought you needed block off plates for the race headers.

And don't need block off plates for the emissions headers.

EDIT: read the faq bitches! (again). Disregard last question. That's 20 bucks I'll save on my install. Sweet.

from what i've heard i'm DEFINATELY doing the motor mounts too, otherwise the Y pipe will bang on the bottom of your car when you give it throttle due to the whole thing moving around. with 96K miles you probably need it too. my car has 50K and i need them badly.

that largely depends on the headers and ypipe, i almost have 115k miles on mine and no banging at all. with the lpp headers it comes with the hangar bumpstop thing on the y-pipe so it should be no problem. the tsp y-pipe like mine has enough clearance it isnt necessary. now if you get pacesetter headers and y i would say it is a necessity. it sounded like someone was bashing there way into the car on my friends camaro with the pacesetter y...

Yeah like Josh said the LPP's have a bracket to hold the y in place so that they don't bang the floor. The only y I've really heard that has this problem is the pacesetter ory and that can be solved by having a bump stop. What kind of headers and ory you going with?

Well just ordered the last of everything today. I got the headers last Thursday and I should have all the other stuff early next week. Then over spring break my to do list will include:

Install Headers and ORY
" SLP CAI and smooth bellows
" MSD wires and NGK plugs
Seafoam
Change oil to Royal Purple
Get it tuned

So hopefully there isn't a bunch of snow when I plan to do all of this...
