Alternator relocation or ???

Default Alternator relocation or ???

Im putting a lq9 motor in a 70 a body and im not using the power steering, a/c compressor, and changing to electric water pump and fans.

The only thing ill be turning with the crank pulley would be the alternator, so does anyone make a low mount kit, probably more used for racing than a street car, or am i going to have to run one belt from the crank all the way to the top where the stock alt. location is basically eliminating any actual serpentine setup.

Or have to get custom mount?

I saw one for f body spacing on here, low drovers side. Would that work?

I dont care where its mounted as i have plenty of room. It will just be the only thing being turned by the crank pulley so i wont have and tensioners or serpentine system.

BMR makes an alt bracket. check that out on their website (bmrfabrication.com) and see if that will work for your application

I have an iron block so ill have to drill and tap but that will work perfect. Thanks

Another possibility if the low mount wont fit. But keep in mind your truck crank pulley will have to be change for a f body.
