Single or Dual Cutouts??

Default Single or Dual Cutouts??

I will be taking my car to a exhaust shop to get a y-pipe
made and i was planing on running cutouts,
should i run dual cutouts after headers or single cutout after the merge?

I'm no export but me personally..I think it's better to just run one after the Y if it's a mild build. If it's an all out drag car then maybe two is better.

The reason I say this is because most people lose some low tq with the cut out open. So if you run it far back on the y you will have a lil more back pressure and to me it seems like it's a good cross between flow and back pressure.

On the Trans Am there is a perfect little notch in the floor board on the passenger side, I dunno on the camaro I think it might have a place too. If you put it there you wont scrape..Angle it a little bit so you can open and it's still points kinda down and away from your car.

if yo have 2 cutouts and you run them too close to your collector be prepared to ruin some o2's. id recommend a single 3" or 4" after the y. there is a nice cubby hole on the pass side right before the rear seat to place it if you look under your car

Agreed. I have duals and nothing beats the sound, I mean nothing, but performance wise, a single is better. I would do a single if I had it to do over.
