Re: Catalytic Converters I think you will need ear plugs! Like jrp said, wait 'till you get headers. Otherwise, you will just be buying a different Y-pipe. I made that mistake, and just spent about 8 hours modifing my SLP Y-pipe to work with my new headers.

Re: Catalytic Converters I say gutt the cats replace the flattened factory Y with a shop made one, and either catback of your choice should yeild you bout 15-18hp. Loudmouth have been known to cause some rasp, with gutted cats. Hooker on the other hand, likes gutted cats and sounds like you have shorties on. just my 2 cents.
