Great.... While i was swapping out my clutch today, i noticed that my oil pan has a crack in it. Its by the last bolt behind the oil filter. I guess its time for a new one. This will be fun.....

How hard is it to pull the oil pan ??? Everytime I've been under my car to do an oil change it looks like I just drain the oil, remove all bolts and pop her off. Is there more to it then that on an Fbody?? I have the batwing style oil pan, and have read about people sayint to get rid of it ? Anyone know why? Not trying to hijack bro, good luck on the repair, or swap.

On the Fbody you have to drop the k-member enough to get room to pull the pan out. If I had an aftermarket Kmember, the pan would come out without dropping it. Its a pain in the a$$. The crack goes around the last bolthole behind the oil filter and runs up the back of the pan. Dont know how hard it would be to get it fixed. It might just cost as much as a new one.....
