Default Hp level and change spark plugs?

Is there a general rule of thumb with rwhp numbers, that determines when a colder plug is needed. Ie, 500 rwhp use Tr-55. 600 rwhp use TR-6............etc.

I dont think there is a hp # for that. Its more in what power adder you have. IE forced induction or go gas. I run a tr6 plug with my FI set up but I'm sure if the the car is tuned right you could have a big cubed N/A moter on tr55's making 600hp.
