issolating the PVC...to remove it...possible leak
in reference to this thread
gonna try to "remove" the PVC system from the loop, to see if the noise i'm getting goes away.
to do this i just unhook the hose on the lower passenger side of the intake manifold mouth.
and then i have to plug the nipple on the intake manifold...correct?
otherwise it will pull unmetered air in.
YES?
NO?

What noise are you getting. If you are a street car this isnt a wise idea at all. Your rings wont seat and you will get blow by and you will have other issues.
PCV system can be rebuilt using simple fuel line and hose clamps. It makes No noise what so ever.

well i double checked the hoses, turns out the hose on the passenger side was disconnected.
BUT...
connecting it did nothing for the noise.
and pulling the PVC off the front of the manifold and plugging that did not change the noise.
so its not the pvc.
knew it couldn't be that easy.
