ls6 intake swap

is there any advantage to using the ls1 coolant lines on the heads when swapping intakes,does it matter by blocking the rears off

Are you talking about a throttle body coolant bypass?

talking bout,the kit u buy to plug the rear coolant crossover between heads and just have the front crossover,is there any disavantage with this,any cooling issue with rear of head

ive heard of some having issues with the rear pistons burning up but very rarely

I just got my Ls6 intake, but im thinking of just keeping the LS1 lines and notching the bottom of the ls6 intake....just can't find the pic

doesnt the ls6 come with the rears blocked from factory,im assuming since the plugs are gm parts

yes, LS1 with LS6 intake (01+) and LS6 come with the LS6-style coolant pipes stock

ya id much rather notch the bottom of the LS6 intake to keep the LS1-style coolant pipes
