anyone have results? wheather on an f body or something different.
its rather large at 8.25 x 11.5. 25" long.
looking to quieten down my mufflex a lil bit. ive had flowmaster, magnaflow, and the spintech on it and they were all too loud for my tastes.
i have a stock replacement dynomax ultra flow on the car now (3" in and dual 3" out)
its nice and quiet, but worried about flow with my 408 setup.
looking to go back to 4"
muffler is going to be a bit big for an f body, but should fit in the stock location.
my other option is a 6" round dynomax ultra flow 17537. its 6" round, 22" case.
i can make either of them work, just looking for opinions. curious if the large oval case will absorb more noise, or the large case will make it louder inside the car?
i see a lot of guys going with the can style mufflers. is there a preference for interior noise from the round to the oval setups?
