Default Quick Passenger Cylinder Head Question

I recently bought some heads from a board member, and on my passenger head there is an open hole that appears to be the same size as the temp sensor hole on the driver's side head. It's in the same location too. My question is... what is this hole for? Can I plug it? My heads have been off so long that I don't remember if anything goes there or not... any help would be appreciated. I'm guessing if people don't have the same hole, I can probably go ahead and plug it... just wanted to be sure. The hole on the passenger side is near the very back of the head. Just picture your driver's side head installed on the passenger side and you'll get the idea of the hole I'm talking about. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Unless something has changed, heads are not side specific. There is only A head, not passenger side or driver side.

I kind of assumed that, but wasn't sure... does that mean nothing goes into the hole I'm speaking of? I can safely plug it?

Yeh, you need to plug it. If not coolant will flow out of it. If you still have your old head, you can take the plug out of it.

like said they are not side specific so the hole you are looking at is the cts when it is on the drivers side and it plugged on the pass. side. Plug it
