Which handheld Hey guys.
I know there is information on this somewhere on the forum. I have seen it before. However, I tried searching and nothing came up.
My question is which handheld tuner should I buy.
I have the opportunity to pick up a hypertech for $100. Either go this route, or buy a new diablo sport 2 tuner.
My car will have Pacesetter LT's, TSP y-pipe, and SLP LM2 CB. Along with a P/P TB.

With the laptop hptuner software, does it come with a few pre-loaded tune profiles to benchmark from? If someone like me never goes to dyno or track, could I still benifit from this or should I stick to a handheld. Sorry to hijack here.

I wouldn't waste the money on a hypertech unless it's for an A4 with a converter only.
Another vote for tuning software + laptop. To use it you also need to use a wideband 02 sensor. With this you can tune it yourself completely, though it is a bit expensive. There are some tunes floating around you can look at for reference but I wouldn't recommend installing someone else's tune unless you have confidence in where it came from. If you buy HP or EFI Live though, you can get help/advice on their forums.
