Spark plug help
The car developed an erratic idle and hesitation recently. It currently has about 73K miles on it, and 6k since installing 224R cam/stall/headers,etc, along with new TR55s. We replaced the O2 sensors with some Bosch 13111 since it was running the stockers with homemade extensions, so I figured it was time.
The car had been running great up until a few days ago when it developed the erratic idle and hesitation. After pulling the plugs they all looked fine except for #7 and #8. Im guessing that they are doing this because there is no catch can on the car. The oil goes towards the back of the intake and into the last two cylinders. Also #7 was only hand tight and the wire on #8 wasnt all the way on the coil. That probably wasnt helping. The car also had a ported stock TB on it when we got it. After the cam install, the car would have trouble idling/surging.
I noticed that the fresh air tube on the TB was plugged with some kind of epoxy, after I removed it, it idled perfectly. But after that I noticed that it started to get some oil residue buildup around the PCV valve, which was replaced a few months ago. And it started to consume more oil than before.
Thanks for the help and sorry for the long post.

I hooked up my scanner and went for a drive, the MAF is reading correct and the O2 sensors are reading great as well. I did order a catch can so hopefully that will take car of it. Ill double check that rubber connector though, you never know.
Thanks for the input.
