Ever since you started porting throttle bodies and competing directly with Scott, you have stirred up trouble and made slanderous comments one after another.

Here is a question for you that you continue to completely ignore....
Why is it that you talk about him screwing people over right and left and yet he has 1 negative feedback left on ebay in 400 transactions? READ the feedback, because it's the facts, unbiased opinion.
Scott,

I haven't liked you long before I ever started porting TB's. You dicked me around for 3 months back in 2000-2001'ish on porting a set of heads for me, and it took me 3 months to get my money back from you. What's funny, you filled me full of all the same lame excuses you continue to use in present day.

I'm also annoyed (Not just me, everybody is) with you, that you think you can do whatever the hell you want on this forum. After you were banned for a reason, you coming on here to drum up business under different names is basically a "screw you i'll do what I want" slap in the face to us. One thing I can promise you Scott, we know who you are. It doesn't take a genius to track you. Especially since you're in EVERY thread your name is mentioned, talking about how great "Scotts" throttle bodies are.

Both "quikrnmost" and "moosezloose" have the same exact I.P. address - 68.116.55.116. The moose name was just created, directly after I started breaking your ***** about advertising under quikrnmost. Moosezloose also immediately starts attacking Blanco in one of the other forums. Hmmmmmmmm...

Congrats on your Ebay score. It's unfortunate the guys on LS1tech weren't so lucky. As I have said many times before, you've got great talent at what you do. Probably the best aside from Brett Bauer, but you can't seem to keep **** straight in your personal life for more than 5 minutes to be able to run a successful business. For that reason, because you've screwed so many people here, and because you BLATANTLY continue to try and pimp your stuff under different user names we'll never allow you to sell your products here again.

And for the last friggin time, I DO NOT PORT THROTTLE BODIES ANYMORE. So I could care less about your TB's.

Take care Scott. I'll be watching you

It is machined for him at a shop, he does not machine it himself. He assembles it.

The Black Widow is a 92mm Billet Tb anodized black with a red blade and a spider etched on the blade. The blade was to thin and not centered very well in the opening. You could see around the edges and not evenly, it did not seal very well.

A TB's first job is function, not just to look nice. Do your brother a favor and get him a good functioning TB. Then you can have it anodized if you want.

You would be better off with Nick Williams and have it anodized black for him. They (BW) would have been nice if the quality was there, but the best thing you can do is to get a Nick Williams. Or the RevXtreme is about the nicest piece I've seen out there.

The RevXtreme is more money but your getting what you pay for. Having sold both I can tell you from experience the RevX was far superior to the Jantzer. The money was much more as well but your getting what you pay for. The Nick Williams is a nice piece as well.

I can help you with it if you like.

Well alrighty then...
Jesus, the guys (or is it just this guy named Scott?) at Jantzer Performance sound like a bunch of jerks. Doesn't sound like a company where I would want to drop some cash. I love my brother, but I think he may have to do without.

99blancoSS, I did a Google search for both the places/people you mentioned. Those things look like works of art. I said it before, I'll say again, you guys have some very cool toys...

You mentioned getting one and having it anodized. I presume this is some kind of plating? Is that what they (Jantzer) did to the Black Widow?

If my brother is dead set (he can be a stubborn SOB, just ask our Mom) on a Black Widow;
1-Can I bypass Jantzer Performance and buy direct from the shop that machines them?
2-How do I get in touch with them?
3-Is the quality still an issue?

Sorry I ask so many questions, but this is a real big deal for me to be able to do this for my brother, so I don't want to get a piece of junk...

Thanks again to all you guys for your input, it is very much appreciated....

You can't let go of the past can you? It's takes a big man to run down another man that is defenseless. Maybe you should pick up the phone and call Scott. In my opinion, being behind on work when your business is starting out does not constitute screwing someone over like you make it out to be. Customer service issues, absolutely. Screwing anybody over, he wouldn't do.

The PAST is the PAST. You're living in it.

The ebay rating is not a "score", it's a testiment to the kind of work you do and the business you run.

He machines some of the parts himself, orders the material, orders the small parts, assembles them, has them plated. Short of running the CNC machine, he does all the work.

It's unrealistic to expect a new product to be a ringer right out of the box. The FIRST batch used a thinner blade (around stock) that expanded under hot conditions and had a couple issues with sticking. The fix was a thicker blade. The air gap around the blade was intentional to account for thermal expansion. The issues were minor and easily fixed.

look up a company called PTM they make a TB thats almost exactly like the BW but with better quality. i also wanted a BW but LMR steered me in this direction. btw whats so special about that TB except for the fact that it has a spider in the blade that you can't even see when installed. you can also order the 92mm PTM in annodized black, and to tell you the truth looks almost identical to the BW. i've had mine for almost a year now and love it. never sticks and performs flawlessly. if you want i will take a picture when i get home tonight and post it up tomorrow if you want to check it out. i paid $350 total no core.

So just how long does it take to make a legitimate business? He (you) screwed Damian around '00-'01 then screwed me with a 2 YEAR wait from the end of '04 through the end of '06 and sent me used valve covers instead of my core charge back for a TB that I sent in. So his business was shady for what 6 years but now it's magically fixed...

strokerblackhawk,
Thanks for the info and the picture offer!

Will do a Google search for PTM and check out their throttle body. Think my brother is going to have to live without Jantzer Performance's Black Widow unless I can find the shop that makes them and see if they'll sell one direct.

Nick Williams is the best for the money IMO if not the best period. And I run a F.A.S.T. TB FWIW. If I were buying right now I wouldn't have to think twice

I hear Tracy's are very nice but I have not seen one other than in photos so I am not qualified to comment....

No, it is a family friend that does them for him so there will be no bypass and the one I saw had a blade that closed all the way ( don't know if it was thicker) but the IAC hole had an insert piece instead of being machined correctly so who knows what your getting.

PTM had a black anodized Tb, you could take the blade and have it anodized red for him if you wanted but the etching will probably be a pain to get. Texas Speed sells them IIRC.

I thought about producing them myself the correct way but am not sure if I want to take it on. I can get the laser cut blades from a sponsor on here so maybe... we'll see. The Black Widow was my idea in the first place so if I want to produce it I will but I'm not going to get into a big brewhahah about it in a public forum.

How long til you need to buy?

To the original poster, I apologize but I'm going to lock this thread so Scott can no longer post trying to pimp or defend his products. Feel free to take it to PM with Blanco, or any other of our supporting vendors on the forums that keep this place running every month.
