Default What do I need for header install??

Hey guys.

I should be getting my Pacesetter LT's and TSP y-pipe combo in the mail tomorow. Coming with them is a SLP LM2 CB.

That is what I ordered.

I also got the 02 extensions. Now, it says it comes with gaskets and bolts. So will I need anything additional for the install?

I also plan on getting new plugs and wires. Can I just pick these up from a local parts store? What do you suggest?

Thanks alot.

I just ordered a set of LT headers as well and in addition to what you have above, I would do a little research on the prothane motor mounts. I hear it is easiest to do while the exhaust manifolds are off and you might as well do it once!

You will need o2 extensions since the LTs relocate the o2 bungs farther away.

My headers came with NGK TR55s and MSD wires. I'm sure you can pick them up at any local parts store.

Are you installing these yourself?

Yes, I am installing them myself. And I stated above, I already have 02 extensions.

I think I am going to get plugs and MSD super conductor wires.

I don't want to mess with the motor mounts yet. Maybe at a later date..

It really is the time to do the motor mounts if you are going to do them. I did them when I did my headers and it was still a PITA to do. I can't even imagine trying to do them with the headers up in there in the way.

saying you're gonna do the motor mounts later is like saying you're gonna replace the pistons in the engine some other time when you already have the engine removed and stripped apart.

its 100x easier when the manifolds are off

and damn near impossible when the LTs are installed.

you'll end up pulling the LTs off later....why do that work 2x when you can spend the $60 now and be done with it.
