Exhaust leak

Exhaust leak Well over the weekend I have to take my heads off to swap out lifters and pushrods. While I was unbolting the cats from the stock manifolds I snapped one of the three rods on both exhaust manifolds, they had 3 but now only have two on each side. I got the car back together and bolted the cats back to the exhaust manifolds, now I have a pretty bad exhaust leak where the manifolds bolt to the cats. I know I can not pass smog with this leak but will this leak cause damage to my cas since the leak is right where they start?

they will be dead in no time......the cat gets extremely hot inside and once it gets a rush of cold air its a wrap.....u should have just drilled out the studs and put in new 1's.....i own an exhaust shop and they break all the time.....if the manifold is off the car it takes like 10 mins each.

Yeah thats what I thought. I got the car back together sunday morning and did a 112 mile drive back up to school sunday afternoon. Monday night when I drove the car about a mile I could hear some rattling
