edelbrock header feedback wanted

Re: edelbrock header feedback wanted
I just bought a pair. The guy I got them from says that they fit in great.
I'll be doing some before & after testing over the Grotts that I have, with the AF ratio adjusted before & after, so we can compare apples to apples.
Looking at the header, it's a no brainer. Great quality, stepped header going into a 3.5" merged race collector. The only other header I know of with a merge collector is the QTP. Be prepared to spend around $1200-1400 for that header. Granted, QTP is stainless. But HP wise, I bet there is no difference.
Priced at under $400. How can you go wrong?
I dont know if there is enough time left in the year to get the testing done. I could switch them at the track & do some before & after runs. But I have no way to adjust the AF ratio. I'm thinking that with the 3.5" collector, my best gains will be seen over the Grotts while on the spray.
I haven't seen anyone post up any dyno results with them, although I'd like to see some.

Ya thats what i was thinking also true merge collector at a decent price. The only thing I don't like is having to weld the collector on after the optimum length has been established,
and then pulling them off to get them coated.
Oh well its a long cold winter up here and this will give me something to do.
