Default Exhaust CutOut Location

Howdy yall.I have a true dual exhaust.I have flowmaster mufflers.I heard alot of people saying flomaster is crap.I dont want to put on bullet type mufflers because it may sound to loud.Were should i put the cut out?I dont have headders.Should it be closer to the cat or mor back?

Flowmaster makes good mufflers, their crossflow ones are crap though, I would know, a cutout for me should make a nice change

Put it as close to the cats as you can without setting off an "SES" (service engine soon) light. True duals are pretty nasty, if you are going to put a cut-out, and you have true duals; you should buy two exhaust cut-outs, otherwise, have one exhaust cut-out installed behind the passenger side seat. Don't listen to Ferocity02, he is a clown, but wait for other opinions and make your descion then. Good luck

Well i have 2 flowmaster 40 serires delta flow and i think they are crap.I wanna change these mufflers but i think a cut out will be cheaper.

Yup you'll see a gain even with the cats. The area under the passengers side rear seat is a great location.
