Is it worth it......

To buy the gm 85mm maf? will is see any gains?

I've heard that they are worth about 10 RWHP with a tune I added one to go with my 85mm TB I only paid $55 for it and the 3 to 5 wire connector together plus I sold my stock ported one for $65 i'm using a regular MTI lid with mine but a Fast Toys 85mm lid would be better. I would say go ahead and do other bolt ons like headers, underdrive pulley and when you ready to get a tune do the 85mm MAF because you will need a tune with the 85mm MAF.

its not really much in the way of a horsepower gain until you max out the stock. it does help with tuning in that the iat is moved from its shitty location to inside the maf.
