Without knowing what car you have,

The only response you're likely to get are questions. Mainly concerning whether it's an A4 or an M6 car.

Even then it could be climate dependant. If you are in a hot climate there would be justification for engine oil cooling. Or are you talking trans cooling?

Help us, to help you.

I have an oil cooler built into my LG supercool radiator. It keeps the oil temp below 200 no matter how hard drive the car. That is based on my old h/c 346. We'll see if the 402 developes more heat, and makes a better case for having it. Without the oil cooler the oil would get into the 220's, or even 230's if I was pushing her on the highway over and over, or if I did a couple of back to back high speed runs. 0-180 ish, the oil temp would jump, but after the new rad w/built in oil cooler, it never got anywhere near the 220/230's. I'll report back with oil temps on the 402 after I drive it home from Texas later this month or early next month
