Miss on #3 cylinder

Ok my cylinder 3 is having a missfire. I did the jumper test where u arc a spark from the plug wire to the body and it was arching. Then I checked the plug and my friend said it was firing. I took the whole thing apart and put it back together and the code went away for like 15 minutes then it returned I am stumped yall have any ideas

Bad plug,plug wire,coil,bent pushrod etc. Simplest to replace plug and wire on # 3 and go from there.

Might want to try swapping all of the above with another cylinder and see what happens. It's quick and easy.

try a compression test, see if it's a valve or spring.

Try theblurr's advice first. Might just save you some money! Helps to narrow down the issue initially.

do you have anything done to you engine {cam,heads,headers,etc} i said prior i would swap two plugs and wires and see what happens. Also how bad is it missfiring?
