get the 5 inch, it works perfect. 
Underdrive pulley on A4
Underdrive pulley on A4 Well I took the advice of members and got an 8" pulley puller to remove my stock one. There is no way in hell that and 8" puller is going to fit with the radiator and fans on there, not to mention the claws don't even fit inside of the pulley. Maybe its because it a cheap harbor frieght one but needless to say it doesn't fit. What size puller did you guys use to pull you crank pulley an an A4?

I don't use an overdrive on the alternator. It's not charging very well at idle but it hasn't been a problem. I make it a point not to get stuck in stop and go traffic when possible though, my car isn't a dd.
