What do you think of rasp? Without cats, you WILL have rasp. A LOT with the loudmouth and less with the B&B. I also think the B&B is too $$$. Did you ever consider the Loudmouth with high-flow cats? I think that would sound the best next to true duals myself

I'm running a LoudMouth without cats off QTP headers right now, and talk about rasp! Cats do a lot to quiet the exhaust. There is a very loud resonant frequency at about every 500 rpm starting at 1500 rpm, then 2000, then 2500 etc. At each of these rpms, I can hear the poping of my exhaust echo of trees, buildings, people, you name it!!

Do you plan on getting headers? If so you could wait until then to remove the cats. Rasp is almost unavoidable on our cars I think once those cats are gone.

Because cats are the only way to kill rasp (not just reduce it, as some mufflers may do) on a Y-pipe equipped car. For the most part if you have an uncatted Y-pipe you will have rasp. you need working cats or true duals to try and kill it. The loudmouth is a fairly crude sound, not as bad as those annoying raspy pickups, but not exactly clean and crisp for sure. I ahd the loudmouth for almost two years on an otherwise stock exhuast and loved it by my true duals are 10X better sounding.
