Default FAST 90mm TB....idle screw

intake was installed and tuned a month ago

idled rock solid at ~850-900rpm or so

recently went through and painted the valve covers and cleaned up the engine bay.

now i have a sudden high idle (1100rpm)...and hanging idle when i come to a stop with the clutch in (~1500).

checked the pcv system and it doesn't seem to be the issue.

then i touched the idle set screw and it turned, and the idle dropped to what it was supposed to be.

i turned the screw with my finger!!!

is that normal? is there a "lock screw" or some means to keep the screw from changing? i figure i must have bumped it while under the hood.

seemed odd...any suggestions?

mine has a spring on the screw to hold the tension, but if you dont, just get a nut or some loctite and throw on it
