yes you will need O2 ext. remember to get the square type connector. as far as tips go, just get the car as high as you can

What i did is use the after cat sensors (because they are longer, same sensors) and use some of the wire from the pre cats to extend it that way. Just an idea

my Pacesetter headers came with wire, so Im just going to cut and splice to make them as long as I need. Then I have some kevlar heat protect tubing to finish them off...

The sticky at the top of this section has some pretty good install links in it:

I just did my first header install not too long ago. For the height of the car you need to get it much higher than you are probably thinking. I was amazed how high the damn thing was. Also if you can get a friend to help you out it makes the install go much easier. Just make sure you remove the plugs first so you don't break them inside and have tough time getting them out

Don't splice them. Just do it the right way and buy some extensions... you'll thank yourself in the long run. Trust me.

You have a bad experience with splices?

I still havent gotten to this part yet... I figure as long as I take my time and soldier them up good, it will be the same as extensions.

Just buy the extensions. After being under the car for as long as you will be with the header install, you won't want to go back under for some o2 sensors!

yeah, get the xtensions like 35 bucks and no worries. Also remove plugs, removing coil packs and cruise control bracket and battery gives more room to work with. Get a 10mm gear wrench-10 bucks well worth it.
