How good do these work A friend of mine was telling me about this TB Spacer and I have never heard anyone with an LS1 use it. Does anyone know if it actually works and worth trying out?

Re: How good do these work Up to 5MPG and 20 HP? I'd call that bunk unless I saw some real world tests performed on it.Even then I would first look to other things to cause that increase.
I use a TB spacer on my GTP. I noticed no difference with it.The reasoning behind the spacer on my GTP is to isolate the TB from the hot supercharger. I personally see little to no reason to use one on the LS1 due to the composite manifold.
The cost of this item could easily be applied toward someting with real science to back it up like a FTRA or something along those lines.Then again it "might" work.
Almost anything is "worth" trying out if you have enormous amounts of surplus income and your curious.

Re: How good do these work How can air turbulence be a good thing? I can see how a certain spin may help, a little. Look at tsp's lid, that was designed to reduce air turbulence. Maybe I'm an idiot and am missing something here.....
