Is it possible to repair leaking power steering pump?

I suppose it would depend on where its leaking from. Mine had been leaking and the Dealership doing the work on my car had said they repaired it by replacing the pulley shaft I think. (was a while ago). Well it still leaked after and fried my alternator. So I tear into it to replace alt. and find that the one tube running into side of the PS resevoir had a bad O-Ring. Replaced that and has been fine since. (other than the occasional burping fluid past the cap) Hope this can help a little bit, O-ring is cheap fix so something to look for.
