Angry update = more delays...

small update guys, i got to talk to a tech over at Weiand (if that means anything) he stated that the intakes are being pushed back because when the intakes are removed from the molding system to cool, that the fasteners that hold the intakes to the cylinder heads are not aligning correctly. sorry guys this may be old info... thats all for now.

Is that intake shown above a real intake one can purchase for an ls1? If so, what is it, and where can I order one?

agreed. If there was a problem with the alignment, a quick mold change would likely fix it. It sure as hell wouldnt take over a year to adjust the machines.

Sad. They got everyone's hopes up with a reasonably priced performer and then they **** the bed. perhaps they should take some styling cues from Edelbrock and F.A.S.T. and copy their ****, sell knock offs at a lower price. Go the chinese route.

i have yet to see one of these intakes. I dont think it was 8k, i believe it was around $2500. Either way, thats a **** load for an intake manifold. Hell, you are coming close to FI territory for the price. I would love to see how they perform. I cant imagine any performance they are capable of justifying that price tag though. Now, if they sold to for $999 i would be they would get some snags.

Harrop Hurricane LS1 cable throttle (all models) - AUD$3,520.00 (plus installation kit)

^lol I dont have any "on paper" proof that it's over, just the warehouse that I had it on order from (Warehouse West in Renton, WA) said that a Holley rep finally called them back and said that they "didn't have the technology to pull it off" and that all orders would be cancelled from here on out.

you can no longer order through Jegs either...so I call as their website says to do (it used to list an estimated ship date that was pushed back a millon times as we all know) and what do you know...the intake has been "discontinued" in their system and will no longer be made by the manufacturer. Real Shocker there...

This thread should be stickied based purely on comedy. I had a ton of great laughs reading through this. Good stuff. Much appreciation to the O.P. for stirring the pot, and even more appreciation to the guys that responded with the classic animated GIF's, and even better one liners... this one had me rollin'
