Default Sweet Thunder VS. Dynatech/Borla

Im trying to decide which mufflers to run on my 2.5" true dual setup. I have heard sweet thunders on a F-body with TD and it sounds really good. But I was thinking of running the Dynatech Split-flows Oval casing. No cats or resonators and will have a H-pipe. Which will be quieter? Opinions on each? HELP!!! Looking for any insight

I have the dynatech, it is much quieter, smoother, and sounds killer compared to the bullet style glass pack i had on there before.

Exactly the response I was looking for.

I currently have the Powerpacks, but I am doing all Mandrel and switching mufflers too.

i have sweet thunder and would never choose anything else. i love the tone so much better then dynomax and the others. to me they just sound loud, sweet thunder actually has a certain sound to it, not just being loud.

Well the shop that built the exhaust did a poor job on it. I am redoing the exhaust myself and there are a few things I dont like about the powerpacks. They are to loud at 2K~2500 rpm and they dont have a good tone. IMO

So in the process of rebuilding the exhaust I figure I will change mufflers. I really like the Borla XR-1 but they are to pricey for my budget. The Dynatech is a very similar design with the only difference being the material. I thought I would swing that way.

I have some Dynatechs that I run off the headers from time to time and they doo a really good job of keeping the noise down but they scream at WOT. My cousin also uses them on their circle track car for similar reasons
