Default Ls6 intake ?

So here's a question. I bought an LS6 intake a few months ago. I could install it and get some decent gains, or I could sell it and use the money for Knois or tires for my c6 rims. The thing is, I know I am not ever going to put headers on the car or do a cam. I have read the results and it seems like a good mod to do, but would it be that beneficial if I am not going to do any other mods. Right now I have a filter/lid, shaner tb, and pwr programmer. I am eventually going to get a mail order tune, but that is it. So should I install it, or sell it?

I honestly didn't feel that much of a performance gain from my LS6...you can sell it since you aren't going to really need it since you aren't doing LTs or a cam anytime soon if ever..

I dyno'd my car vefore and after on similar weather days and I went from 328-332hp. Average HP was up but peak to peak I only gain 4hp.....

Sell it. I would say keep it if your planning on doing other mods. It would show more gains with headers/cam etc. without those the gains would be minimal so you might as well sell it and get $300-$350 for it

you must be close to stock ?? ive never heard of a number as low as only gaining 4hp with a ls6 intake. Actually on a stock engine i usually hear about 10hp gain.

I have Hooker 1 3/4 LTs, Hooker O/R Y, Hooker CB, QTP ECO, FTRA, LS6 and a SLP lid...

I also have a ported TB but that wasn't on my car at the time of the Dyno. I am untuned....
