Quietest 3" in/out
To me "bullet" automatically equals LOUD. I could be wrong, but the way I understand things "quiet bullet muffler" is an oxymoron.
Im looking for almost the same thing, quietest 3" muffler. I ended up with Flowmaster Big Block II (70 series) mufflers. I ran them on my old carbed V8 S-10 and they were very quiet.

Too bad you didn't have a corvette. The lgm big 3 is very tame at idle but gives away all its secrets when you get on it. Maybe they will do an Fbody version. I doubt it though. There were supposed to be f body lg pro longtubes and they never were released so I wouldn't hold my breath.

I been thinking about the XR1 but dont know how well it tones things down...
I just want a smooth reasonable note...
I just put a magnaflow bullet on my 99 camaro. It sounds good. It is a little loud when accelerating normally. Sounds really good at WOT. It is bearable cruising at 50 and below and not too much louder around 60-70.
