How much power ? Do i need a tune? I have an 00 SS. I have an SLP lid/K&N filter, pacesetter Lts, catted Y and dual dual SLP catback... How much Hp and Torque do you think I am making at the crank? Also.. do you recommend a tune after headers and y? thanks!

With the headers, lid, and catback, I'm going to estimate around 385 hp. 415 tq. at the crank, give or take a few horsepower and torque. You might think that's high #'s, but our cars are very underrated. You can do a tune now, but if you're going to do more mods, it would be best to wait. That way you won't have to get it retuned later.

I forgot to answer your last question, lol. No, you don't have to get a tune after the headers are installed. I drove my car for a few months with headers without a tune and it drove fine. Let's say, if you were to change the rear gears, then you would definitely need a tune. That way they can match your new gears with the correct shift points and recalibrate your speedometer. When you get into the major mods, that's when you definitely need a tune. It's all about getting your stuff in sync.
