11.8 Volts WOT?
11.8 Volts WOT? Hey Guys,
Having a issues where i get random MAF/VAF codes,02 sensor codes and once in a while misfire codes, changed those out numerous times and now under scanning with HP tuners i am seeing tons of knock and slightly down on performance(from the knock). I am wondering if the 11.8@WOT is causing enough loss of voltage to hurt the fuel pump which is causing knock and general electronics to go a it haywire and throw codes? The car is pretty much stock, walbro pump, lid, exhaust.... The battery isnt new but it does crank and see 12 volts plus and running i am only getting 12.5 at idle, maybe alternator is bad though its does give enough juice to run everything and not kill the battery...looking for thoughts before i go and change the alternator and buy a battery...

I think the altenator should be checked, running you should be getting over 13.5 to 13.8 volts, and yes, 11.8 could cause performance issues with your electrical system that will implact the engines and other problems.
