243 heads

I just found a pair of 243 heads out of a Z06. I am planning on rebuild them with a good valve train. What cam will be good for this heads? how big? is this worth the time and money or should I go with a diffent route? Money is tight rigth now so I am trying to modified the car with minimal expense.

I tuned a BUDGET car a few weeks back that had an LS1 with LS6 H/C, Fast intake, and LTs and ORY and it made 406rwhp and 395ish rwtq. This was an M6 on a Dynojet 224 SAE.

243's are good heads (for flow) yours are even better with the light weight sodium filled exhaust valves off the zo6. get those ported with good springs and your set! my mistake was going with the LS6 cam, its way too mild. get at least the TR224 cheers!

Thanks for your in put. I currently have LT's, borla catback, aftermarket flow sensor, lid and a mail tune. Hopefully this mods can support the heads and cam.
