I've had the Hooker catback on my car for a couple of years now, along with longtubes and ORYP. Nice and mellow cruising around and very nice when you get on it. Didn't like the tips that came with it so I replaced them with Corsa clone tips. You can't go wrong with the Hooker catback!

Hooker is my favorite exhaust - if you look at a cutaway of the muffler its practically non-restrictive.

I went from a ORY with a loud mouth 1 behind it to ORY and hooker. Don't get me wrong i absolutely love it! Gave it more of a muscle car sound instead of the super raspy sound the LM1 had. Sometimes i do wish it was a little louder though, but thats mostly from inside the car. When i hear it from the outside i am completely happy. Plus it keeps the heat down from the po po. When i had the LM1 on there you could probably hear me coming a mile away.

Also have the hooker cat back and it does sound good. I also don't like the tips and trying to find something different.

Not to change things up but I just went with a Magnaflow as well as back to highflow cats and a e-cutout and I like the Magnaflow. Only really loud when I want it, can hear the radio as well as talk to someone. My GMMG and Duals were a bit to much now that I have ended up here. Flows well as I only lost minimal power on the dyno after removing duals. Just my .02 cents

I still run a Hooker catback with 1-7/8" QTP's and 3" Y pipe with a Flowmaster merge.
Certainly not quiet as it used to when the car was stock, but still sounds nice with no rasp.

Just replaced my GMMG with a hooker. I run Pacesetter LTs, ORY, 224/230 cam, w/3600 stall and it was obnoxious with the GMMG. Dont get me wrong I loved it but I just thought it was time to quiet it down some. The car is 10x quieter cruising around but still has a nice note when WOT.

Here's one at idle from last year.

BTW - That's not smoke, it's from the moisture in exhaust after sitting over the winter.

I've used every catback under the sun for the last 11 years on F-bodies and the Hooker CB is by FAR my favorite.

It's one of the best, if not THE best, single in dual out muffler, and sounds excellent. All that for under $350 too. Don't waste your money on $500-700 catbacks that don't even flow as well.

I've had the hooker on the car for a while. Kooks 1 3/4, Kooks ORY, and Hooker cb. Car is a H/C car. Here's a vid of me spinning the tires. you can get an idea of what it sounds like... I used to have TSP duals and it sounded wicked but it was too loud inside the car.

don't mind all the tire smoking, we just got back from Iraq

Ive got hooker as well, with a bullet in front of a e cutout, got about 6 whp with the cutout open, quieter than stock for now and by design. I didnt like the tips either so i just had them tucked under the rear bumper, much cleaner look and still all the benefits. I dont regret it.

Same here, I love the Hooker sound but if it were a tad louder wide open I wouldn't mind. But that was the only time, other than at idle that the LT/ORY/LM1 set up sounded good. The only thing I don't like about the Hooker is the tips, they are too long and stick way out past the bumper so I put the tips from the LM1 on and know I am completely happy. I need to get some new pics and a sound clip soon.
