Default gap on plugs

ok what is the best gap for a bolt on LS1 with msd wires and ngktr55 plugs.....i heard .050-.055 but was told .052 seems to be the best.....

If I'm not mistaken, i believe that stock is supposed to be .060, however everyone says that they're gapped all over the place. The most popular choice is the NGK gapped at .055, and it seems to work very well. Theres a general rule of thumb about gapping plugs, i think its for every 50hp added, decrease the gap by .005. I forgot where i heard that from (might have been here), Ive been reading up on this myself. I have decided on the Denso iridiums, and theyre gapped at .060. I have heard nothing but good things from people who have them. Someone jump in if I'm wrong
