Exclamation PPC or FLP???

I've noticed that they are 2 different designs, and was wondering if this made a difference in performance or especially fit and clearance? I have ground clearance issues due to the hugest most gigantic speed bump on the planet which is inside my neighborhood. Lowering the car is so out of the question. With a passenger, i already scrape a little bit, its freaking ridiculous!!! This has been the only thing holding me back from headers.
thanks for your help!

i havent heard issues with either one, both are a great setup. and as long as you dont go with slp lt's you shouldnt have much ground clearance issues.

Kooks are said to fit up tight as well. Macs don't hang low either.

Most headers fit up tight(except SLP)it's the Y-pipe that hangs,I custom make them to fit tight.

PPC's all the way. I have no issues with mine at all. 3" y pipe setup wit no CAT's. 1 3/4" pirmaries. Gained me 24 rwhp more and 21 rwhp more. I love them.

Everybody is getting right around 25 RWHP with both the off-road Y and the Catted Y (RT Metallic cats).

I got exactly 25 RWHP with no tuning.

Ground clearance is great except right on the driver side of the y-pipe where it has to dip under a frame member. There's really no way around this. That's the ONLY part of the system that's even close to the ground.

The prototype car is lowered 2" and the pipe rarely hits... however I AM mindful of it and don't go over speed bumps.

Here's a photo showing how far the driver side of the y-pipe hangs down:

Here's a photo of the uncoated prototype system from underneath:

Hope this helps...

Go with the PPC's they are great headers and make excellent power throught the whole rpm band. Good Luck
