Question have SES light...exhaust leak?...have questions.....

Okay, I'll just write everything b/c I don't know what information could end up being usefull......
Went to start car today (it has sat for a couple/few days) and battery was dead (this has happened many a time before, but since I got a new battery only when I left fan switch on low speed ). Jumped it with little portable jumper battery that is self contained by connecting directly to battery (instructions do say to put negative side on chassis ).....After letting it idle for a minute or two when I put it into drive it surged up to almost stall speed (~1,500 rpm, stock verter) so I had to wait awhile idleing then restart it and all worked.....through all of this I had an SES light glaring at me

When I got gas I checked the oil and what do you know, it was very low so I added the quart I keep in back seat.....

I am thinking that I have an exhuast leak, possibly.....When Speed Inc installed my True Duals (several weeks after I did the Jet-Hots myself) they said that I had broken off one of the bolts in the engine block and would have to go w/o or it would be complicated to get it out. I didn't remember breaking one, though, and I checked all the bolts i ever came across and they were all in one pice.......... . Anyhow, after rambling on with my endless **** (thanks for reading all of it, BTW ) some specific questions I have are...could the computer know that I have an exhaust leak there? How would it know, would it set the engine light if the front oxygen sensor was reading all of the fresh air comeing in?? I have O2 sims and no cats, BTW.....
I have been paranoid of haveing an exhaust leak b/c I seem to hear some extra curricular noises from that corner of the car. Does anybody who actually read this whole long stupid post have any advice?? It is going into the dealer when I come home over Thanksgiving to have my snow tires put on and get the damage to the rear end that they didn't properly fix last time looked at so I will have them check it out then should this continue. Thank you very much for your time!!!

pull the code first and go from there. we cant point you in the right direction unless we know what code is setting off. autozone provides free code readings for find a friend that has autotap or something.

an exhaust leak shouldnt throw an SES light.

they will read codes, but they will sometimes be pissy when doing it...try to go when it isnt busy and they will be less prone to act like bitches when you ask them to move their lazy as#Y#$% to help you out...

this one autozone told me they wont read codes after hours...gay...when all they were doing is restocking crap...
